AMAL
AMAL returns to the Moonglow booth for what is sure to be a Friday night banger. If you’ve been into music and in the Bay Area over the past few years, you’ve no doubt caught AMAL spinning everything from hip hop and R&B to deep house and brazilian baile funk. Her sets are always high energy affairs and catching her in the intimate confines of Moonglow is not to be missed.
J Boogie
J Boogie makes his Moonglow debut, returning to Oakland for a night of deep dance music and eclectic cuts from around the globe.
J Boogie has been a staple of the Bay Area music scene for decades, playing memorable DJ sets at every great room and performing with his band Dubtronic Science at some of the biggest stages in the world. He currently holds down Friday nights on KALW, but his DJ appearances are fewer and further between since he and his family moved to Hawaii.
